Reg Organizer is a Windows registry repair utility and more. The program is actually more like a system repair suite. Reg Organizer 3.3 consists of three sections, each section including modules: The Registry section includes Registry editing, Cleanup, Automatic cleanup and Search and replace; the Files section includes disk cleanup and Configuration files editing mode; the System section includes Software uninstall and Tweaks.
The registry editor displays the keys, conventions, values and comments, so that you can effectively edit your registry (recommended for advanced users only).
The registry cleanup module displays registry values divided into categories: software, Startup applications, file types, Shell extensions, Applications paths, etc., while the Automatic registry cleaner looks like a wizard and performs automatically all the appropriate operations in order to efficiently clean up your registry (recommended for beginners).
The Search and Replace mode allows you to search and manually or automatically replace key names, value names, value data, etc.
The Disk cleanup utility allows you to free space on your drives, with lots of options: ignore CD-ROM references, removable disk references, remote, RAM disk references or references to disks of unknown type or non-existent drives. You can choose between finding and fixing invalid shortcuts or finding useless files of different types.
The Configuration files editing mode allows you to open and edit *.INI files as well and saving the changes.
The Software uninstall mode allows helps you install and uninstall programs, create registry snapshot, remove them or compare two registry snapshots.
The Tweaking module consists of basic, advanced, security and Windows built in tweaks, for example: do not launch Security Center when Windows starts, hide Run or Search buttons in the Start Menu, disable NTFS last access time, etc.


Pluses: The programs settings can be exported and imported from file, you can create backups of your registry and restore them when needed. A large variety of tools and tweaks just on click away.
