Convert WMV video files to AVI (Divx), MPEG 1-2, DVD/VCD/SVCD with IBN WMV to Video. Different options available for each conversion process: for conversion to AVI, you can select video, audio codecs, size and framerate; for conversion to MPEG 1-2, you can select the size, framerate, audio and video bitrate; when converting to DVD/VCD/SVCD you can select PAL or NTSC, size and splitting of the movie in several custom sized files.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: The conversion proces is quite hazardous; to be more specific, after encoding a WMV file to MP1 we had image, but the sound was completely gone, as for converting to DVD - NTSC, we had sound but absolutely no image. We managed to convert to AVI file format, but the sound quality was poor regardless of the codec we used. If you want to convert the same input file to a different format, you need to remove IBN WMV to Video 2.3.2 from the list and then load IBN WMV to Video 2.3.2 again. You have no option of previewing the video files.

In conclusion: Poor quality of output files, no preview option, an unfortunate choice for converting WMV files.
