HP Compaq Business Desktop 786F6 BIOS 3.04 Rev.A package contains utilities that can be used to restore or update the system BIOS on the supported desktop models with a 786F6 BIOS. Several methods for changing the BIOS version may be chosen. Included in HP Compaq Business Desktop 786F6 BIOS 3.04 Rev.A package are the following methods:- Use the DOS utility with a preboot execution environment (PXE) management application or to locally update or restore the system BIOS.- Use HPQFlash to upgrade the BIOS directly in a Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Windows Vista environment.- Create a CD image to upgrade/restore system BIOS. ENHANCEMENTS: - Adds support for AMD Phenom II C-2 Step Processors.- Updates the AMD AGESA Code to v3.3.2.0.FIXES: - Corrects an issue that occurs when multiple DASH NIC cards are installed in the system, where the correct NIC card would not be labeled as the Management Card in the F10 Setup Utility. Now the system searches for the DASH NIC card to which the NIC DASH cable is connected.PREREQUISITES: None
