Free Video to MP3 Converter is a small, but very effective audio extractor. Until now, when I wanted to create an MP3 file from a video published on YouTube, I had to use two programs. With the first program, I would download the video file and with the second program, I would extract the audio from that video file. Now, with Free Video to MP3 Converter 2.6 program I can extract the audio directly. Using the program is a walk in the park, since Free Video to MP3 Converter 2.6 only extracts audio to MP3 file format. You specify the input file path or the YouTube video URL, choose the output directory, and hit Convert. As for output settings, you can choose between High (256 kbps, 48000 Hz, stereo), Medium, and Economic (96 kbps, 22050 Hz, stereo) quality. Pluses: The good thing is that you dont need extra codecs installed. The program works very fast even when converting to high quality format. The supported formats are *.avi, *mpg, *.mpg, *.mp4, *.wmv, *.asf, *.mov, *.qt, *.3gp, *.3g2, *.swf, and *.flv. Drawbacks / flaws: It doesnt have many output presets.
