EZ Audio Converter is actually more than just a converter. When I first ran the program, I was thrilled to find out that EZ Audio Converter 3.09 is also a CD ripper, audio file splitter and joiner.

Everyone knows that the first impression lasts. EZ Audio Converter 3.09 is so true about EZ Audio Converter 3.09 program. The interface is very well designed and very ergonomic. You have quick access to all the tasks and options without having to waste your time browsing among several program configuration windows. You will find a folder tree on display in the left side of the program window. From here, you can browse for the files you need to convert, split or join. Any of these operations can be accomplished by using the right-click context menu.

The median part of the program window displays the selected files location , the target files location as well as the progress of the selected action.

The right side of the program window provides information about the source and output files. Here you can change any of the properties for the output files: name, frequency, bitrate, channels, VBR, quality. When ripping CDs, the program will read track information by connecting to the CDDB database, as for MP3s, you can edit ID3 tags.

You can set the program to save the output files into the same folder, you can manually choose a folder for the outputs to be saved in or you can set the program to ask every time where to save a file.
All files can be listened using the inbuilt player. The program supports audio file formats such as: MP3, MP2, WAV, RAW, OGG, WMA, CDA, VOX. The program performed very well every selected operation. No crashes or system slowdowns. I must say that I enjoyed myself a lot using EZ Audio Converter 3.09 program.

Pluses: The best part is that you can split or join a file into a different format, for example you can choose to split an MP3 into 5 WAV files with a single click. All the operations can be performed using the buttons in the programs toolbar or by using the context menu.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: A very useful and highly reliable audio file converter, CD ripper, audio splitter and audio joiner. In my opinion a must have for all kinds of users.
