Easy Duplicate Finder, as the name suggests, is a software meant to help you find and delete duplicate files. Did you ever wonder what is the amount of hard disk space occupied by duplicate files? Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4 is not the first software doing Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4 task but is one of the few that works good and above all, Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4 is free. The program is well structured so you wont get lost between endless menus. You have to go through three steps. Step 1 is for selection of the directories and setting the options. After you select the directories where you want to look for duplicates you can make a few settings like selecting the Skip zero-size files, Protect System Folders, and Protect Other System Files check boxes. The second step is the one where the program has to prove itself. Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4 is where you have to wait for the program to look for your duplicate files. If the number of files in the selected folders is large you have to wait a bit but not for long. After the search is finished you can select the files you want to delete and go to step three where you will actually delete them. Unfortunately you cant preview the files found as duplicates. The only available feature is for opening the folder containing the selected file. In case of pictures the preview would be very useful. Maybe in the next release we will see Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4. The user interface is intuitive and I think you will find Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4 very easy to use. Pluses: Easy Duplicate Finder 1.4 is free and works flawlessly. Drawbacks / flaws: In conclusion: I look forward for the next release hopping to see some more features.
