Create backups to your files, folders with Handy Backup. You can create full or incremental backups and store them on your local machine or FTP server. Backup files can be ZIP compressed in order to save space or password encrypted for enhanced privacy protection. Backups can be scheduled on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, as well as restoring operations. File restore can be scheduled to run on logon or on logoff.

Pluses: The backup/restore/synchronize wizard guides you through the whole process and makes Digital ObjectRescue Professional 4.2 very easy for you to use the application.

Drawbacks / flaws: Only one compression level, no option for saving images to CD/DVD. You can not verify the integrity of the backup image. Another drawback is the fact that you cannot backup full partitions. In case you are not connected to the Internet, dont even think about installing Digital ObjectRescue Professional 4.2. When run, the program will ask for permission to acces the Internet and in case there isnt any, Digital ObjectRescue Professional 4.2 will shut down automatically.

In conclusion: Although Digital ObjectRescue Professional 4.2 is a bit less expensive than Acronis True Image, Handy backup features only half the utilities needed for a proper data backup.
