Backup Outlook 1.3.5 program, as the name suggests, is supposed to create backup files for Outlook, when you want to backup your email account configured in Outlook. You can save even your customized toolbar settings and Send/Receive group settings. After selecting the path where you want to save the backup file, you can select the compression rate for the backup. When testing the program I tried Backup Outlook 1.3.5 feature but, I couldnt see any difference between the file created with minimal compression rate and one with maximal compression rate. The size of the e-mail Ive used was around 100 MB. The time needed for the process was also the same even if one option is supposed to be fast and the other slow. The backup file might be protected with a password which will be needed if you want to restore your mail. Besides adding a name to your backup file, you could add a note as well. A feature that impressed me was the Incremental Backup one. If you choose to, you could keep up to 15 old backup files. The backup could be set automatically at any day of the week, at any hour. When you click Finish, the process starts and the file is created. If you complete all the steps you should see the file in the main window. When testing the program I wasnt able to do that, so I couldnt test the Incremental Backup feature. The Restore function is working well. After I deleted all my messages I was able to restore them. The interface is well organized with all options on the main screen which makes the program more easy to use. Pluses: Drawbacks / flaws: Backup Outlook 1.3.5 was unstable during the test.In conclusion: We are looking forward for the next release. version reviewed:
